You may see a tiny raised mark where the glass was finished, usually at the rim, spout or lid edge. It’s a normal part of how glass teaware is made, not a fault.

Before First Use & Care

Before first use

  • Wash the teapot, lid and infuser in warm, soapy water, then rinse well.

Brewing

  1. Put your leaves in the infuser and set it in the pot. For a flowering tea, drop the ball straight into the pot.
  2. Pour in hot water and put the lid on.
  3. When the colour looks right, lift the infuser out so the tea doesn’t turn bitter.

Cleaning

  • Wash by hand in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge.
  • Glass doesn’t hold on to flavours, so a simple rinse between teas is enough.
  • To lift tea stains, leave a little bicarbonate of soda and warm water in the pot for a few minutes, then rinse.

Precautions

  • On a gas or electric hob, use a gentle heat, always with water inside and the infuser removed. Never heat the pot empty. Not suitable for induction hobs.
  • Avoid sudden changes of temperature, such as rinsing a hot pot under cold water.
  • The glass warms up with hot water, so hold the pot by its handle and keep a finger on the lid as you pour.
  • Don’t use the pot if the glass is chipped or cracked.

Made for flowering tea

The ritual

Made for flowering tea

Drop in a flowering tea ball and watch it open, petal by petal. The round glass body gives it room to unfold, and turns a simple infusion into something you’ll want to share.

With loose leaves, the infuser lifts out as soon as the colour looks right.

Isn’t glass fragile?

Made for hot water

Isn’t glass fragile?

It’s made from borosilicate glass, the kind chosen for oven dishes and laboratory ware because it copes well with heat. Give it a moment rather than plunging it from hot to cold, and it’s made for everyday use.

And if it ever arrives damaged, send us a photo and we’ll send a replacement or refund you in full.

  • Watch it unfold

Clear glass shows every leaf and petal as it opens.

  • Glass infuser included

Lift it out when the tea is ready, so the last cup tastes as good as the first.

  • Borosilicate glass

Each pot is shaped from clear borosilicate glass, chosen because it copes well with heat.

Before you buy

Good questions.

Anything else? Write to us, we’re happy to help.

Can I pour boiling water into it?

Yes. It’s made from borosilicate glass, designed for water straight from the kettle. Just avoid sudden changes of temperature, such as rinsing a hot pot under cold water.

Can it go on the hob?

Yes, on a gas or electric hob over a gentle heat, always with water inside and the infuser taken out. Never heat it empty. It isn’t suitable for induction hobs.

Which size should I choose?

400 ml for one. 600 ml for two. 800 ml or 1 L for the family or for guests. The full measurements are under Details & Specifications above.

Is the small bump on the glass a fault?

No. A tiny raised mark can remain where the glass was finished, usually at the rim, spout or lid edge. It’s a normal part of how glass teaware is made, not a fault.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

We recommend washing it by hand in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge. It keeps the glass clear and looks after the lid and infuser.

What if it arrives broken, or I change my mind?

If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo and we’ll send a replacement or refund you in full. You can also return it within 30 days of delivery: see our returns and refunds policy.
