This privacy policy explains how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit ooloteaware.com (the “Site”) or place an order with us.

Personal information we collect
When you browse the Site, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- your browser type, IP address and time zone;
- some of the cookies installed on your device;
- the pages you visit, the products you view and the searches that brought you to the Site;
- how you interact with the Site.
We call this “Device Information”.
How we collect it

When you place an order, we also collect:
- your first and last name;
- your billing and delivery addresses;

Payment details are handled securely by our payment provider: we never see or store your full card number. We call this “Order Information”. When we refer to “Personal Information”, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.

We use Order Information to:
- process payments and deliver your orders;
- contact you when needed about your order;
- detect and prevent fraud;
- tailor our offers and share relevant content, where you've agreed to hear from us.
We use Device Information to:
- identify possible fraud;
- improve the Site and your browsing experience;
- measure how well our marketing works.
We rely on the following legal bases: performing our contract with you (processing and delivering your order), our legitimate interests (running and improving the Site, preventing fraud), our legal obligations (for example, keeping accounting records) and your consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), which you can withdraw at any time.
Sharing your information
We share some personal information with trusted third parties who help us run our business:
- Shopify, the platform that hosts our online shop;
- analytics tools, such as Shopify Analytics, which help us understand traffic and how visitors use the Site;
- our suppliers and delivery partners, who need your name and delivery details to prepare and deliver your order.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it's necessary to protect our rights.
Targeted advertising
Your Personal Information may be used to show you relevant advertising. You can limit this by changing your settings:

Your rights
If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have the right to:

International transfers
Some of your information may be transferred outside the UK and Europe, in particular to China, where our suppliers prepare and dispatch orders, and to the countries where Shopify and its service providers operate. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your information
We keep Order Information for as long as we need it to process your order and meet our legal obligations (such as accounting rules), unless you ask us to delete it where the law allows.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements or the way we operate. The latest version will always be on this page.
