Using it
- Fill it with dry loose-leaf tea, herbal blends, coffee beans or sugar.
- Keep one tea per caddy, so the aromas don’t mix.
- Store it somewhere cool and dry, away from the stove and from strong smells.
Cleaning
- Wash the jar by hand with warm water and let it dry completely before filling it.
- Wipe the lid with a dry cloth; don’t soak it, to protect the fabric lining.
Precautions
- Not suitable for the dishwasher or the microwave, because of the gold details.
- Ceramic can break if dropped: handle it with care.

That’s what it’s for. The lid is lined with fabric, so it sits snugly in the opening, and the opaque ceramic keeps out the light that dulls loose leaves.

How much tea does it hold?
It holds 230 ml, so roughly 30 to 80 g of loose-leaf tea, depending on the leaf: more for tightly rolled oolong or sencha, less for light, fluffy white tea. The opening is about 5.5 cm wide, easy for a tea spoon.
Can I keep something else in it?
Of course. It suits herbal blends, coffee beans, sugar or small treats, or anything you’d like to keep tidy on a shelf. Use one caddy per tea, so the aromas don’t mix.
Do the colours look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but each glaze can vary slightly from one caddy to the next, and the gold details on the lid differ a little too. Screens also show colours differently.
How do I clean it?
Wash the jar by hand with warm water, then let it dry completely before filling it again. Wipe the lid with a dry cloth rather than soaking it, to keep the fabric lining intact. Not suitable for the dishwasher or the microwave, because of the gold details.
Is it a good gift?
A lovely one, on its own or with a pouch of their favourite tea. Choose a colour for each person, or two for a pair. Delivery takes 7–14 days in total, Monday to Friday (2–4 days processing, then 5–10 days shipping, both Monday to Friday), so order a little ahead for a birthday.
