How to Use & Care
Brewing
- Unscrew the small glass chamber and add one or two teaspoons of loose leaves.
- Fill the large chamber with hot water and screw the bottle closed.
- Turn the bottle upside down so the water meets the leaves.
- When the colour looks right, turn it upright again: the filter keeps the leaves apart and the tea stops brewing.
Cleaning
- Dishwasher safe. Take the silicone ring out now and then to rinse it.
Precautions
- Steam builds up with hot water: open the bottle gently.
- Not suitable for the microwave or the freezer.
- Avoid sudden changes of temperature, and don’t use the bottle if the glass is chipped or cracked.

A silicone seal sits inside, so once it’s screwed shut it’s made to stay closed, even upside down.

Not unless you want it to. Turn the bottle upside down to brew, and upright again when the colour looks right: the leaves stay in their own chamber, behind the filter.

How does it work?
Put your leaves in the small glass chamber and fill the large one with hot water. Turn the bottle upside down to brew, then upright again to stop: the filter keeps the leaves apart from your tea.
Can I use boiling water?
Yes, the double-wall borosilicate glass is made for hot drinks. Steam builds up inside, so open it gently, and avoid sudden changes of temperature.
Can I make cold tea?
Yes. Fill it with cold water and let the leaves steep for longer, turning it upright when the tea is ready.
Which teas work best?
Loose-leaf teas and herbal blends with whole or large leaves. Very fine teas, such as rooibos, may slip through the filter.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, it’s dishwasher safe. It isn’t suitable for the microwave, as the middle section is steel, or for the freezer.
Is it a good gift?
A lovely one for anyone who takes their tea on the go. Delivery takes 7–14 days in total, Monday to Friday (2–4 days processing, then 5–10 days shipping, both Monday to Friday), so order a little ahead for a birthday.
What if it arrives broken, or I change my mind?
