How to Use & Care
Using it
- Plug the warming plate into a USB port: a laptop, a USB wall plug or a power bank.
- Switch it on with the button.
- Pour your tea hot, add the lid and set the mug on the plate: it starts warming. Lift the mug and it stops.
Cleaning
- Wash the mug, lid and spoon by hand.
- Unplug the warming plate before cleaning it and wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Precautions
- Never put the warming plate in water, and keep the USB connection dry.
- The mug isn’t suitable for the dishwasher or the microwave, because of the gold details.
- Switch the plate off and unplug it after use.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Tired of cold tea?
You pour a cup, a message comes in, and twenty minutes later it’s cold. Set the mug on its warmer instead: it keeps your tea at around 55 °C, so the last sip is as good as the first.
No more reheating. Just tea, still warm, whenever you come back to it.
Peace of mind
Is it safe to leave on?
The warmer only heats when the mug is sitting on it. Lift the mug and it switches off by itself, so it doesn’t keep heating an empty plate.
When you’ve finished for the day, simply switch it off and unplug it.

How is it powered?
By USB: the cable is included. Plug it into a laptop, a USB wall plug or a power bank. The wall plug isn’t included.
Will it heat up a cold drink?
It’s made to keep a hot drink warm rather than to reheat a cold one. Pour your tea hot, set the mug down, and it stays warm.
Can I use it with my own mug?
It’s designed for the mug in the set, whose flat base sits flush on the plate. Other flat-based mugs may work, but they won’t necessarily stay as warm.
What are the lid and spoon for?
The lid keeps the warmth in, and has a small notch so the spoon can stay in the mug while it’s covered.
How do I look after it?
Wash the mug, lid and spoon by hand; the gold details mean the mug shouldn’t go in the dishwasher or the microwave. Unplug the warmer before cleaning it and wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never put it in water.
Is it a good gift?
