Using it
- Fill it with dry loose-leaf tea, herbal blends, coffee beans or sugar.
- Keep one tea per caddy, so the aromas don’t mix.
- Store it somewhere cool and dry, away from the stove and from strong smells.
Cleaning
- Wash the jar by hand with warm water and let it dry completely before filling it.
- Keep the tassel dry: wipe the lid with a damp cloth rather than soaking it.

A quiet view
Why the ink designs?
Each design is drawn in the spirit of Chinese ink painting: a few fluid strokes, with soft touches of colour. A misty mountain landscape, a stem of bamboo, a green bird on a blossoming branch, a blue butterfly among the leaves.
On a plain white jar, it’s a small, calm picture for your shelf, and a pause each time you reach for the tea.

Will it keep my tea fresh?
It gives your leaves what they need most: the opaque ceramic keeps out the light that dulls loose tea, and the lid closes the jar.
Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from the stove and from strong smells. For tea you’ll keep for many months, you can leave it in its pouch inside the caddy.

How big is it?

Is it airtight?
We don’t describe it as airtight. The lid closes the jar neatly and the ceramic keeps out the light, which is what matters most for everyday tea. For leaves you’ll keep for many months, leave them in their sealed pouch inside the caddy.
Can I keep something else in it?
Of course. It suits herbal blends, coffee beans, sugar or small treats, or anything you’d like to keep tidy on a shelf. Use one caddy per tea, so the aromas don’t mix.
Will it look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The white and the colours of the design can vary slightly from one caddy to the next, and screens also show colours differently.
How do I clean it?

Is it a good gift?
A lovely one, on its own or with a pouch of their favourite tea. Choose a design for each person, or two for a pair. Delivery takes 7–14 days in total, Monday to Friday (2–4 days processing, then 5–10 days shipping, both Monday to Friday), so order a little ahead for a birthday.
What if it arrives broken, or I change my mind?
